У нашего героя Андрея в руках брошюра, которую он получил в школе на ярмарке вакансий. Там было много профессионалов, и они рассказывали о своём призвании.

Вот некоторые из профессий, которые Андрей встретил на ярмарке:

Описание 1.

Описание 2.

Andrew: I like singers because they have beautiful voices and they are good at dancing. Famous singers are self-confident, charismatic and talented. Also, I like some popular showmen. They are intelligent and funny. They need to know how to interact with the audience to make them laugh. And sometimes it’s really hard.

Наш герой восхищается певцами, так как у них красивые голоса и они хорошо танцуют. Знаменитые певцы уверены в себе, харизматичны и талантливы. Также ему нравятся некоторые популярные шоумены. Они умные и весёлые. Им нужно знать, как взаимодействовать с публикой, чтобы её рассмешить. А это иногда очень непросто.

Задание. Соедините названия профессий с их описаниями.

Выбор работы

Поинтересуемся у Андрея, что он думает о работе. Андрей не прочь найти работу с частичной занятостью, и он прав, ведь это хороший способ заработать свои первые деньги.

Посмотрим на следующие объявления, которые нашёл Андрей, а также узнаем его мнение о них. Затем дополним пропуски словами по теме «Личные качества» и угадаем, какую из трёх вакансий он выбрал.

Сначала разберём лексику по данной теме:

• flexible — гибкий;

• friendly — дружелюбный;

• good at communicating — коммуникабельный;

• sociable — общительный;

• hard-working — трудолюбивый, усердный;

• honest — честный;

• patient — спокойный;

• physically fit — физически подготовленный;

• reliable — надёжный.

Теперь прочитаем мнение Андрея об объявлениях, заполним пропуски словами из списка и отгадаем, что же выбрал Андрей.

Слова: flexible, friendly, good at communicating, sociable, hard-working, honest, patient, physically fit, reliable.

Andrew’s opinion:

Стоит согласиться, что в любой работе важно быть честным, трудолюбивым и надёжным. Что касается Андрея, то он выбрал эту вакансию, потому что ему нужно научиться общаться с людьми и стать более гибким. Для одной из этих работ он недостаточно подготовлен физически. И ещё он не хочет работать на кухне, хотя у них и дружная команда. Исходя из всего вышесказанного, делаем вывод — он выбрал профессию продавца.
